Portable Monitor for Hg in Flue Gas
The NIC SGM-9 is a portable, high performance mercury analyzer for short-term monitoring of stack gases and includes speciation capabilities. Compared with the traditional continuous emission mercury monitors (CEMMs), the ultra-compact NIC SGM-9 provides simplified set-up and measurement in the field for Parametric Mercury Testing, Mercury Control Technology Evaluation, and Relative Accuracy Testing Audits (RATA). The compact size of the NIC SGM-9 makes it perfect to install and operate at elevated and space constrained locations near the stack sampling points. Multiple stack gas measurements are possible with one instrument. Real time measurements are achieved allowing for real time research, certification and optimization of combustion systems.
