Model EMP-3 Mercury Monitor

Handheld, Portable Mercury Monitor

The NIC EMP-3 Mercury Monitor is designed for measuring gaseous mercury in work environments. It is compact, light-weight, battery-powered and can be carried virtually anywhere, making it the perfect tool to measure mercury for occupational health and hygiene monitoring applications by OSHA and NIOSH guidelines. The EMP-3 has a lower measurement limit down to 0.1 ug/m3 and a range up to 2,000 ug/m3, and it can measure even higher with the all new dilution option. Measured data is automatically acquired and recorded into a built in data-logger and can be retrieved via PC for data processing. The built-in GPS function automatically stores GPS positions of every measurement, so you no longer need to log your measurement locations. A rechargeable battery can be easily swapped out for external charging. Upgrades allow for versatility into other mercury analysis applications.
